This week was my third week in a row being on the road. It all started in the south earlier this month when I drove from Tennessee through Mississippi, Alabama ending in Georgia. Last week I was outside of freezing cold Providence. My last stop was Texas. I saved the best for last…
I love traveling to the Austin/ San Antonio area for work. It makes me really miss being home in Oklahoma. The people are nice and the weather is great (mostly, when it is not over 100 degrees!). I got to run in a tank top mid November so I’m not complaining. When they say Texas is a state on its own it is so true. Texas is not the South, it’s just Texas. Here are a few pictures from my week.
Yes you can get livers and gizzards as a local fast food chain…Other than that what beautiful sunrise on my run.
The first oil rig that ever operated in Texas.
No parking anywhere around the Texas Stadium on Game Day, they mean it!
The Texas state capital building in Austin, actually very pretty and impressive!
Yesterday I had a four and a half hour flight delay to get back to New York. I hate flight delays. Luckily I had plenty of Thanksgiving food magazines and I finished the new Bridgette Jones Diary book.
Are you as obsessed with reading food magazines around the holidays as I am? Also if you have flown in the last month do they still make you turn off your electronic devices even though the government got rid of that rule? United is so annoying!
