Running Underneath The Stars

This week while in South Texas I have been getting in some decent workouts. My favorite workout was my morning run. At 6 AM here it is pitch black dark. At first I was a bit scared, it’s not like there were side walks and street lights to guide my path. After the first mile I relaxed a bit and looked up…

Stars A wide open sky filled with stars.

Not something that this city girl sees a lot of. It was one of those moments where I felt sorry for my colleagues who were still sleeping in or already working on emails. As a runner I often get moments like that, that other miss.

Running really has brought so much joy to my life. Making friends, keeping me in shape and little moments like being able to enjoy the stars before the day started.

Do you ever have moments on a run when you feel like that?
