Skinny Bitch Fitness: Body
I have been a long time fan of the Skinny Bitch Series. In fact the Skinny Bitch book was the whole reason I first started to eat vegan in the first place. If you have not read the Skinny Bitch book you need to now. Some find the language a bit harsh but I liked the lay it all out there approach Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin take. The books are loaded with hard hitting facts about the food industry that could make any meat lover think twice about that next cheeseburger.
Anyways ,todays review is about the Skinny Bitch Body workout. I bought the workout on iTunes for $9.99. At first glance it is a pretty good investment, you get four 20 minute workouts.

The “episodes”run together fairly well so you can combine them together for a longer workout. I actually did all of them one morning. I loved that the videos were good for traveling. I didn’t even need anything other than my pj’s to do the workouts in. You could use just about any space you have and get the moves done.
While its good to have a simple workout on hand I was a little unimpressed with the difficulty level. Rory and Kim lead the workouts and act like the moves are so difficult but in reality they are pretty easy. I also found that it difficult to follow Rory who leads the workouts because she would get out of step a bit. Perhaps that is just inexperience on her behalf.
Overall I’m glad I bought the videos for those mornings when you just need to get moving but anything too difficult would be impossible. The time flew during the workouts and you can choose to focus on certain areas. I actually really like the abs video the best!
