I posted a few weeks ago that I had finally dropped a few pounds… SO HAPPY!!!! This week I hit a stand still with my weight loss (I’ll try to overlook my football watching, eating and drinking as the culprit). To combat this standstill in weight loss I decided to do a day of juicing and add in a new beach body workout plan, T25.
What is T25? Its Shaun T’s new workout plan. Shaun T is the mastermind behind Insanity which I did earlier this year. I love Shaun T’s can do attitude, he reminds me of a mix of all my favorite boot camp instructors. T25 is a 25 minute workout five times a week and one day with two 25 minute workouts. I have found that even when I’m exhausted I can still power through 25 minutes. The goal is to work so hard in those 25 minutes that you don’t need to do an hour. I’m no so sure I quite agree with that yet but I’ve just been adding in these workouts here and there I have not officially started the plan. I am thinking that next week is the perfect time to start!
Hopefully the anaerobic workouts will help push me past this hump.
One day of juicing certainly can help! I did a blend of Organic Avenue and my favorite the Cooler Cleanse. I stuck with juices that I know and love for the most part but I tried out this new tasty treat…
Greens, a hint of sweet pineapple plus a kick of spice from cilantro and jalapeno. SO GOOD!
I love doing one day cleanses= every now and then. It sort of re-sets your system and helps you have a better idea of how much food your body actually needs. On a good cleanse (one loaded with nutrients) you will not really be hungry, in fact last night I as stuffed with liquids!
