Ziplist: New Recipe Plugin

About two weeks ago I started using a new recipe plugin called Ziplist. Many of you might not be familiar with all of the bells and whistles that Ziplist offers. I chose Ziplist because it is so user friendly. If you sign up for a free Ziplist account you can save recipes, build grocery list and plan weekly/ monthly meals all with a click of a button. Say you want to make my cream of broccoli soup, when can add it to your recipe box it automatically makes a grocery list for you. You can click off things you already have and leave on the stuff you need.

Its pretty handy plus the meal planner is awesome! You can build out everything for the week and create one grocery list. It is really simple. Just a little extra work on my end makes your life much easier. I love it!

I also love the print recipe button. You can now easily print my recipes that way you have a copy handy when you’re in the kitchen.

If you get my post via WordPress emails you have to click into my blog to see the recipe it does not show up in the email format. I wish it were a bug I could fix but sadly I can’t. I figured it was time to make that clear incase you thought I was teasing you with food post minus the recipes!

Most food bloggers are using Ziplist so you will be able to save many many recipes to the account. I’m currently working on a customized version of the plugin. Cant wait for that to go live!

Let me know if you have any questions :)

Happy Friday!

  5. Hey Reba! I use ziplist to make it easy for readers to print up my recipe, but I have to admit that I’m pretty clueless about how to use the actual site. I need to figure that out at some point I guess :) xoxo, Jackie
