Hawaii Part Two: Maui

O M G, I love Maui :) For the first three nights in Maui we stayed at the Grand Wailea, AKA the most amazing resort I have ever seen. They had two slides, a water elevator and seven pools, oh and the beautiful Wailea beach. The last night we drove out to Hana and stayed in the quiet little town at a nice condo on the beach. Maui was night and day different from Waikiki, so peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful vacation

DSC01772 Back to the real world and my normal routine. I’m getting started on Insanity again today, only two weeks left of that and I’ll be back on the running boat.

Do you find it hard to get back into your normal routine after a long vacation?

Wow, oh wow. Beautiful! Looks like a great time :) Usually I ease back into my fitness routine pretty easily because I tend to overdo it on vacation (ie. too much laying around/indulging in lots of treats) so I’m happy to start feeling healthy again :)

  2. Your posts have made me want to plan a trip to hawaii so bad haha! I’ve been to Ohahu, but not Maui and I would love to go during the winter next year!!! Any tips for getting good rates on hotel/flights??? So glad you had a great trip! I definitely find it tough to get back into routine after vacation, but somehow the weeks just go by and it happens =)

I definitely have recommendations. Send me an email when you start to plan. If you go in the winter the surf will be high so you will have amazing waves to watch.

  5. YAY – Maui is my favorite island! I go every year for work (tough job, I know) and it has truly become my favorite vacation. Maui is so unique in comparison to the other Hawaiian islands. So glad you did the road to Hana (amazing, huh?) and saw all the beautiful waterfalls. Did you stay in or near Paia on your last night? That is hands down my favorite town in Maui and I’ve literally been to them all. Thanks so much for sharing!
