Vegan Cake Batter Protein Shake

After a tough workout you’re not always hungry but it’s still a good idea to get in some protein ASAP. A protein shake is a good way to refuel quictly but they are not always tasty. I’ve tasted a lot of protein powders, my favorite so far is the My Victory Protein Boost by NuSkin.

My Victory is a great tasting, natural and vegan protein mix. While it taste just fine on it’s own with out the cake batter flavorings, it’s awesome with it. You know for that special day when a plain protein shake just isn’t calling your name :)

Vegan Cake Batter Protein Shake

1 Scoop Vegan Vanilla or Plain Protein Powder

1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla

  1. I’ve been wanting to buy some protein powder, but I’ve been hesitant because I don’t want to spend money on something I don’t know I’ll like. But adding cake batter just sounds like a surefire way to make it great!

I hate the fact that you have to really commit to a protein mix when you buy it. Luckily this one isn’t too pricey. I’ve been scared to try out the more expensive ones because I don’t want to waste my money.

  2. Cake Batter shake – wow that could not sound any more delicious!!! I’ve never tried Butter Emulsion, but now I need to! I just love the sound of this shake! I bet it would be good with a banana and chia seeds too! My favorite shakes generally involve either chocolate or coffee flavoring. The last protein powder I bought was plain and I’m reallly wishing now I had bought chocolate or vanilla instead – next time!

Yea I would stick with buying Vanilla flavored from now on. Its simple enough to blend with lots of flavors but tasty enough to drink on its own :)

  3. You had me at “cake batter” :) Have a great weekend!

I agree that some protein shakes don’t have appealing taste. I may have to try yours… :) Thanks.
