I’ve been working hard lately to stay focused and positive on a lot of aspects in my life. Lord knows it’s not always easy and I’m not PERFECT! Which is why I write my blog 😉 So with that being said lets talk about my life lately…
Insanity month two started this week once my foot healed. Big bummer that I was set back but I think my body needed the rest! The workouts for month two are sooo much harder and longer and I am loving it. Before I felt like I had to fit in two workouts sometimes because they were so short. Even though the workouts are harder the moves are easier because I’m more in shape. I can’t wait to do speed drill workouts when I’m done, I should be pretty fast! Half marathon PR here I come.
Three Day Cooler Cleanse, yea I’m doing it again. Its been about two months since I last did the cleanse and I figured I felt so great on it the first time why not try it again. I actually decided to do the cleanse last week after I wrote my post on will power. It seemed to me that it was time to put up or shut up with my diet. Since I’m taking a couple of weeks off from drinking any alcohol or diet soda I figured why not really dive in and do a cleanse? So far I’m done with two days and its going good! Surprisingly I’ve been less foggy headed this time around.
Moksha Hot Yoga is my new found love. Its hot yoga but not to hot and every class is a bit different. Did I mention it’s also only 60 minutes. Moksha yoga is a mix of Vinyasa and Bikram yoga moves so it’s both relaxing and challenging. I took my first class Monday and I am ready to head back for more. I just loved the energy in the class and the forgiving nature of the instructor. I hate it when I feel shunned for not straightening my knee in a pose, Yoga shouldn’t be stressful!
I’m pretty happy to be back in my groove… Thanks for all the encouragement last week
