For as long as I can remember I’ve never made new years resolutions. Perhaps I make goals for the year to set a new PR in a race or I try to re-vamp my wardrobe because I’m feeling inspired to dress better, but I’ve never set down and made a list. This year is no different. I have goals of corse but no hard list!
I was however inspired to make one change on my blog for the start of the year, a mileage counter. I really liked how the dailymile counter looked and worked on a few blogs I’ve seen it on. There is also a night running community connected to it as well.
I do not know how many miles I ran last year but I can bet you one thing, it was ALOT! Pure curiosity has urged me to count ’em for 2013.

Its located in the left hand column of my blog. I’ll update it as often as possible. I really hope that I can remember to keep it up this year. It was so cool to see a lot of my friends tally up their mileage from last year. I want to be part of that group!!!
My race calendar for 2013 has changed a bit since I last wrote about it. I hope to add in a Tough Mudder or Spartan race and perhaps a sprint triathlon or two!

I am sooo pumped for next years races! Unfortunately I am going to have to delay my second running of the NYC marathon until 2014 due to Peters brother getting married that weekend. So 2013 will be the year of the half marathon…
