This Thanksgiving my parents came up north and we are spending the holiday in northern New York near the fingerlakes. We are staying in Geneva, NY at Geneva on the Lake. It is beautiful and serene up in the “country”. This morning Peter and I slept in until 9:30 which almost never happens. We almost missed breakfast! After breakfast I went for a” turkey trot” of my own around town and Seneca Lake. It is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for better weather. I hope you all got out to enjoy the great fall/ winter weather today.
After my run we got a chance to relax until Thanksgiving dinner by candle light and piano. The Piano player even played many songs from Oklahoma and my favorite “As time goes by”. Dinner was fantastic!
After dinner Peter and I walked the grounds. I can’t believe how mild the weather is outside!
I am so thankful for my family, friends and Peter. I don’t know what I would do with out them. I pray that everyone out there has half of the great support group that I do. Love you all!
What are you thankful for this year?
As a bonus… Tuesday night we went to the Aerosmith concert. I don’t know why but Aerosmith is my favorite band of all time.!!! I was so excited to see them with such good seats!
OK over and out, tomorrow we are headed to Niagara Falls!
